The Prince Rupert Sirens
As Siren's we stand for connection and community, where all women are welcome
Our Story
The Prince Rupert Siren's team was formed in 2022 when some of the partners of the players from the Seamen rugby team came together to establish a women's rugby team. The Sirens play rugby 7s - or 10s if numbers permits - against the other women's teams in the Northern & Interior league. This league encompasses Prince Rupert, Terrace, Prince George, and Williams Lake. In 2024 the Siren's came third at the annual Saratoga cup in Terrace, and are very excited to build on this in the coming seasons.

In true rugby fashion we have our version of the "Man of the Match" title, known as "Gal of the Game". This title - along with our homemade seashell bra - goes to a player who showed grit and determination during the entirety of the match, chosen by our coaches.
